The Charedi community makes up about 10% of Hackney’s population and is growing at about 5% per annum. It is distinguished by its stringent adherence to and practice of Charedi Judaism. The school is guided by the authority of the Rabbinate of the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations.
Keeping a constant focus on excellence, opportunity and on our Charedi identity ensures that Torah values and an ethos of achievement are nurtured in the school’s everyday life and routines. Each pupil is expected to adhere to Torah observance and reflect the ”three pillars of Judaism”, Torah, Prayer and Acts of Loving Kindness in their work.
Aims of the school
